The 900 series pump-suction portable gas detector is a detection device that can continuously monitor gas. It is equipped with a small gas pump, and the power supply drives the gas pump to extract gas samples from the gas in the test area. Then the sample gas is sent to the instrument for detection.

Pump-suction Type vs. Diffusion Type
The diffusion type gas detector is a gas in the detection area that flows slowly into the instrument with the free flow of air for detection. This method is affected by the detection environment, such as ambient temperature, wind speed, etc. The characteristic of the diffusion type gas detector is low cost.
The characteristics of the pump-suction type detector are fast detection speed, long-distance measurement of dangerous areas, and safety of maintenance personnel. Others are the same as the diffusion type gas detector. The sample gas is detected by the sensor of the instrument and then amplified and sorted by the circuit to convert it into the corresponding value displayed on the screen.
